Unite Red And White Drinkers With This Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne

For me Summer is all about Rose wines. There’s just something about the lightness and fruitness you get from a Rose that you just can’t match with a White or a Red.

And the NV (Non Vintage) Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne from Wine Hound is a real delight.

Pour this into a glass and you’ll have a drink full of bubbly salmony pink rose that is perfect for cooling down and unwinding after a hot Summer day. And it’s a wine that’s blended to  bring red and white drinkers together, with the freshness of the raspberries and blackcurrants pleasing the red drinkers, whilst the white wine lovers will adore the citrus finish to the wine.

The full bodiedness of this wine makes it perfect as something to drink on it’s own, but if you’re looking to drink it alongside food then for me the perfect partnership would be any dish with a bit of spice (Thai is particularly good) or a nice matured cheese that is just on the brink of becoming really whiffy.

Tempted by the sound of this rose champagne? At £41.99 a bottle (currently reduced from £49.99) this isn’t going to be a bottle most of us can afford to buy every week, but if you’ve got a big family event / celebration coming up this is a rose champagne definitely worth splashing out on.

This Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne can be ordered online as a single bottle or in a case of 12 at Wine Hound.
